"All completely natural, no pain relief apart from a little gas and air. It was absolutely amazing, thrilling and I would do it all again tomorrow. I loved it! 🥳"
"I fully understood everything i was being offered and was able to talk through things even though I was 7cm dilated. My husband also understood it all which made all the difference ❤️"

"I found that hypnobirthing was key to understanding what to expect during my birth. You made sure that both my husband and I were as prepared as we could be for all the different stages. This preparation led to me being able to manage the pain, maybe a little too effectively! Despite us informing hospital staff that I'd been practicing hypnobirthing, they failed to register this. Resulting in us only just making it to hospital in time for my son to be born. If we decide to have another child hypnobirthing will definitely be part of my birth planning."

"I feel like we are ready now. I feel like we can do it"

"I planned on using hypnobirthing from early on in my pregnancy, but it was when I chose to plan a homebirth that I was recommended to complete a course with Abby. I am glad that I did as I got different things from the course than I had taken away from the various hypnobirthing books that I read. It was really great that Abby came to our house as that was where we were planning the birth, so it allowed us to really think about the environment. The way the course was structured over 4 sessions was helpful for my husband and I to absorb the material and think about how we were going to work as a team. It helped my husband to feel like an integral part of my birth planning. A benefit from the course that I hadn't anticipated was that Abby brought some sample aromatherapy oils. I hadn't really thought it was my thing before, but smelling some made me realise otherwise. They became an important part of my pre-labour relaxation routine, which I feel allowed me to go into labour in a really good place. The most impactful aspect of the course was how to work with visualisation and breathing techniques which I used during my contractions alongside a TENS machine. I pictured key stages of a hike that my husband and I did in New Zealand to get through each contraction based on some insight Abby shared. It was valuable that Abby is able to add an extra dimension to the course material from her own experiences and those of her network."
